Ode to a Woman's Hand

Oh!! A woman's hand..
is most remarkable...!
With its opposing thumbs.
it's practical and functional...
there is nothing that can't get done!

Hold the baby,
turn a wrench,
jars and doors to open.
Wash a dish,
or catch a fish
or save someone from chokin.

Scratch that itch,..
create a stitch
or warmly, greet somebody new

Drum our fingers in impatience..

Oh, us women take for granted,..
the wonders of our hand...
to know its REAL importance...
